Used Fox Bassoon

This beautiful bassoon just came in on consignment; it was the personal instrument of a local retired band teacher/musicican.

There are no maker markings anywhere that we can find, so we are not able to identify its manufacturer.

It appears to be in good to very good condition overall; of course, you will want your own tech to bring it up to your required playing condition, as so we are pricing it to allow for that.

This remarkable used Fox Renard Model 51 came to us in great condition.

It looks and plays like new, with only minor signs of use (slight scuffs, etc.).

Polypropylene body, "short reach" style. Critical dimensions are machine finished.

Features a body lock, nickel silver keys with nickel plating, and a plateau key covering the D hole to reduce finger stretch.

Rollers on Eb and Db keys. No C# or Bb trill keys, or thumb G#. I

Includes case and #1 and #2 C bore bocals.
